Pre-Christmas Round-up! Yee-HAW!

We've been busy these past couple months.  However, it has been a good sort of busy!  What's been up? Well, let's see:

Halloween... (BOoooOOOoo!)

"Unique Boutique" Craft Show in Idaho Falls...

Asher's 2nd Birthday Party... (WoW!)

Thanksgiving and the ultimate Parker Cousins' Christmas Party!

Wow... looking back at the last few months I can't even believe what we've been up to mah-self!  Halloween came and went like a banshee (hehe) and all of a sudden we're on the Polar Express heading straight for X-mas!

After a successful show of crafts and home decor in Idaho Falls, Jess and I decided to visit Ma and Pa Parker for Thanksgiving in good old Rupert.  The show in IF was great - we borrowed a horsey trailer from my "pharmacist phriend" in Carie (Jeff) and after a chilly hose-down of horse poop, we loaded Jess's decor up for a weekend of fun at Caleb and Celest's and the Bonneville High School.  Literally thousands flocked to this well-known show and Jess had a sweet time!

In the midst of all these good times, Asher decided to turn 2 and have himself a "Cars" themed birthday party.  Grandma and Grandpa Marlor were there to help celebrate.

At the Cousins' Christmas Party we shot guns, ate yummy food, decorated the Dads as Christmas trees, quizzed the lot of us on the Polar Express and best of all- enjoyed the company of family and loved ones!

We are looking forward to a magnificent year's end and look forward with faith to all the blessings to be had in the year to come.

In case I don't get another posting out (which I plan on doing one around Christmas time) - please enjoy the additional pictures and a special video at the end!

Love,

Morgan and Jess

Storming the Pumpkin Patch!

We've seen pumpkins before.  Why is it we can NEVER get enough?  Jess and I both love this time of year and all it has to offer.  That said, we set out Saturday with the pumpkin patch goal in mind.  The kids were in good spirits which is always helpful for the cause.

This particular patch was on the south end of Twin Falls - rather close to the city, actually.  Our rig passed carelessly by the big stores on this special day - Old Navy, Target, Best Buy - nothing could divert us this time! There were pumpkins to be had.  We told the kids they could pick the ones that looked most like themselves.

Anyways, we enjoy coming to this patch because it has a small tractor that pulls a trailer loaded down with hay bales and families across a busy Addison Ave. (I know, right?)!  So far no accidents.  Asher was especially excited this time because car / truck / tractor - they are all the same to him at this point in his life and he LOVES 'em.

I'm making a short story long here, but it was a good time.  The patch also has a little marketplace and area set up with straw bales forming a maze for the little ones (I tried it, too).

We managed to find some excellent pumpkins with a variety of styles and sizes.  I've blabbed enough so please enjoy the memories we captured that day!

Family Pictures

Quick update and I'll put up a longer post later!  We survived family pictures this last weekend!  Emily Merritt from our ward did a sweet job for us.  Thanks Emily!

Kadence's Baptism

The summertime is coming to an end and what a busy time it has been! As many of you know our oldest turned 8 years old in July! Many times leading up to her baptism day has she surprised us with her strong testimony. What an example she is to her little sister Nova and to the rest of us!

It was an awesome day for us and we wish you all could have celebrated with us. Grandpa / Bishop Rick was kind enough to comply with Kadie's wishes and baptize her. Thanks Dad! :) Please enjoy the memories we captured that day...

"Yea, I say unto you come and fear not, and lay aside every sin, which easily doth beset you, which doth bind you down to destruction, yea, come and go forth, and show unto your God that ye are willing to repent of your sins and enter into a covenant with him to keep his commandments, and witness it unto him this day by going into the waters of baptism."
Alma 7:15

Swimming Lessons!

Jumping off the ledge... holy cow! Kadie took a bit more coaxing... :)

"Keep those legs straight!" The girls had a great first-time teacher, he reminded me of a younger somebody... hmmm... :)

Two weeks of swimming lessons - Kadie and Nova passed with flying (swimming) colors! Mom was nice enough to schedule the lessons at 7:00 in the evening so that Dad could attend after work at the pharmacia. Good times were had by all. The girls made huge improvements with putting their heads underwater and kicking like good little fishies.
